Daniel Uusitalo is a venture capitalist at 4impact capital, where he invests in early-stage European software companies across the Nordics, DACH and Benelux, with a focus on energy and climate tech, covering sourcing and deal execution through to portfolio support. Before that, he invested in energy tech at Helen Ventures. Born in Finland, raised between New York City, Vienna and London, and now based in The Hague, he writes about start-ups, artificial intelligence, resilience and climate tech across a range of platforms. He holds an MSc from Aalto University and a BSc from Brunel University London, and his credentials include WEF Davos50 Delegate 2025, Climate Reality Leader and WEF Global Shaper (alumni).
